Job Responsibilities:听

Customer Centric听

• Connect with external and internal customers to gain a deep understanding of Search workflows and needs, and validate our approach to addressing them.听

• Speak to internal stakeholders including engineering, user researchers, and designers about the variety of workflows and end-user needs across segments and personas.听

• Communicate user needs to engineering teams and other stakeholders to align on product vision.听

• Conduct user and competitive research to inform product direction.听

Product Leadership听

• Apply data-driven decision making at every stage of the product lifecycle, from discovery through delivery.听

• Use validation techniques such as telemetry analysis, A/B testing, and cohort analysis to refine product direction and confirm value delivered.听

• Lead and manage highly complex, cross-functional transformation projects, ensuring smooth coordination across engineering, design, customer success, and go-to-market teams.听

• Possess a deep understanding of our product suite and effectively communicate its value from both business and technical perspectives.听

• Track and report on key product metrics relevant to your domain and expected outcomes.听

• Act as a product leader by facilitating communication across teams, aligning stakeholders, and resolving conflicts around vision and direction.听

Technical Fluency听

• Partner closely with Engineering to ensure products meet standards for scalability, reliability, usability, observability, efficiency, and performance.听

• Understand technical aspects of cloud platform architecture to communicate effectively with development teams and inform product decisions.听

• Possess the technical acumen to understand engineering challenges, identify root causes of incidents, and propose practical solutions.听

• Engage in technical discussions with Engineering Managers and Architects to anticipate how future work will impact customers and the product.听

Execution听

• Plan and manage the deprecation of legacy search features or systems, ensuring clear communication and smooth transitions for customers.听

• Break down large initiatives into iterative releases with measurable goals for each milestone.听

• Align with cross-functional teams early to identify and solve complex problems together.听

• Develop internal and external go-to-market content, including documentation and release notes.听

Minimum Qualifications听

• 5+ years of experience in product management building custom software for thousands of daily users听

• Direct experience working on Search products based on Elasticsearch, Lucene, or other search engines听

• Familiarity and comfort with data, including the ability to analyze and monitor product health, set goals, back up assumptions, and track success听

• Strong tactical execution with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously听

• Detail-oriented without losing focus on strategy and big picture objectives听

• Excellent communicator and presenter, both written and verbal听

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies听

• Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Design or comparable work experience听

• Strong analytical skills and comfort with large-scale data and experimentation听

• Excited and curious about highly complex problems, systems, and interactions听

• A team player with proven ability to validate solutions and deliver features from inception to delivery听

• Familiarity with AI-driven solutions such as chatbots, analytics, and concept searching听
