Morgan Stanley are looking to for an infrastructure / IT project manager from the financial services industry with experience in provisioning and installing electronic trading infrastructure and/or low latency technology.

The role will focus on critical day-to-day activities including Data Center network switch installations, CoLocation builds, external client connectivity, extranet services and ordering of cross-connects. This role is hands-on, in a fast paced and high-volume environment. As an IT project manager, you would be responsible for multiple ongoing projects throughout their execution cycle to ensure success as defined by adherence to standards of scope and timeline. As a member of the team, you will own the installation and coordination of new electronic trading infrastructure bringing full lifecycle project management. The candidate will collaborate with partners in the business, technology and risk and control functions. This role is not application focused but rather network infrastructure readiness in the low / ultra-low latency arena.

What you鈥檒l do in the role:

路 Own project execution / network deployment of electronic trading infrastructure across various

聽 North America Data Centers

路 Engage Equinix CoLocation providers to arrange and install cross connects

路 Ensure electronic trading infrastructure readiness for ultra-low latency trading

路 Coordinate 3rd party / external client connectivity

路 Manage network hardware inventory

路 Engage business unit and stakeholders to ensure project success

路 Develop project schedules, maintain issues, and risk logs

路 Partner with telecom carriers to procure leased lines and circuits

路 Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team

What you'll bring to the role:

路 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or 聽

聽 equivalent experience

路 15 years of technology project management experience

路 Financial services firm / industry

路 Coordination with various managers and technical personnel during all project phases

路 Experience in running physical infrastructure or engineering related programs/projects.

路 Intermediate-level knowledge in one or more of the following: LAN, WAN, Telecommunications, Datacentre

路 Proven ability to manage delivery/execution of a wide range of tasks and initiatives.

路 Proven ability to work in a fast paced highly demanding environment.

路 Experience working with client facing groups, market data teams and a full knowledge of exchanges [NYSE,

聽聽Nasdaq, BATS.etc)

路 Knowledge of computer networking topology.

路 Familiar with network infrastructure, IT Infrastructure, and network architecture.

路 Knowledge of and the low latency and real time market data environment.

路 Proven ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously

路 Proficiency with project management and strategic planning tools

路 Knowledge of working with data B2B providers like BT and TNS.

路 Proven experience developing partnerships with and successfully coordinating across various Business,

聽聽Technology, Operations, Control partners and stakeholders.

路 Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to interact at all levels of the organization and tailor

聽聽messages appropriately.

路 Strong presentation skills, including ability to synthesize large amounts of data and information to create polished

聽聽presentations for management.

路 Independent self-starter who can manage multiple activities to aggressive deadlines.

路 Eagerness to learn the business and understand detailed requirements.

路 Experience working with cross functional teams, including Operations, Design/Arch Technology, Risk and

听听颁辞尘辫濒颈补苍肠别.

路 Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project, Visio, and MS Teams.

路 Knowledge and experience in workflow management software (e.g., Jira) and ServiceNow.

路 Expertise in all Microsoft Office tools, especially Power Point, Excel, and Microsoft Project.

路 Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, JIRA practices and methodology

路 Ability to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

路 Experience with Cisco and Arista equipment

路 CCNA Preferred聽
