We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Finance team, focusing on the Record to Report Flex Process. The role is primarily responsible for the review, analysis, and validation of Flex contracts, understanding their stipulations and assumptions, and ensuring accurate accounting treatment. This role will require a strong audit mindset, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
What you will doReview and analyze Flex contracts to understand key terms, assumptions, obligations, and stipulations
- Perform in-depth analysis of how Flex deals were structured and processed operationally and financially
- Verify accounting records against contract terms and ensure alignment with relevant accounting principles and company policies
- Apply audit-level scrutiny to identify inconsistencies, misinterpretations, or processing errors; Â support the investigations and identification of necessary accounting corrections
- Prepare and support accounting adjustments and correction entries where needed
- Collaborate cross-functionally with project teams, finance, operations, and legal to resolve issues, clarify contract interpretations, and support decision-making
- Maintain and track open items and follow up to ensure timely resolution
- Develop and maintain reports and analysis using Microsoft Excel and Power BI to support decision-making and audit readiness
- Assist in improving contract review and accounting processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
- Ensure documentation and audit trails are complete and well-organized for internal and external audits
- Support in the execution of controls (SOX) for Flex process
- Support the preparation of flex balance sheet reconciliations in compliance with corporate policies
- Support internal and external audits by providing robust documentation and analysis related to Flex contracts and related accounting treatment
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 1 year of accounting or audit experience (internships included)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas); experience with Power BI is a strong advantage
- Fluent spoken and written English
Preffered:
- Team player with excellent collaboration and follow-up skills
- ERP Experience in Oracle and SAP
- A meticulous eye for detail and a structured, methodical approach, investigative mindset with strong follow-through
