VCA Managed Services (VMS)鈥痠s an augmentation of Visa鈥檚 consultancy offering, supporting the execution and implementation of recommendations to help scale competitive advantage and operate to succeed in the digital age.聽

We are looking for a Payment Project Manager to manage and support the successful execution of cards, payment development/implementation/migration projects within Visa clients in the Nordics. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the projects from as-is to target solution, utilizing strong and extensive experience from previous projects to execute and navigate in a complex organisation and multifaceted program structure. Bringing experience and knowledge from major projects, preferably within the payments / cards area, the role will provide industry best practice in preparations and execution of project deliverables.聽

The key deliverables / responsibilities for the role include:聽

• Plan and execute change activities from current state to target solution.聽
• Manage allocated resources (Visa, client, third party) and provide high-level visibility and progress reporting for the program.聽
• Actively engage and manage key stakeholders.聽
• Drive assigned tasks professionally, timely, and with high quality.聽
• Ensure collaboration and integration within change initiatives.聽
• Understand clients' business objectives, needs, and plans.聽
• Identify opportunities for improvements in ways of working.聽
• Provide thought leadership and projects regarding the future of payment and retail banking as needed.聽
• Coordinate with Visa Hub teams to provide support, additional information, and best practices.聽

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

• Proven understanding of card/payments products聽
• 3 years + experience working in the payments sector聽
• Proven experience of delivery techniques, methodologies, and best practices (Waterfall and Agile)聽
• Fluent in English and Norwegian (verbal and written)聽

Desirable (but not essential):聽

• Experience working on migration projects聽
• Ability to drive business & technical implementation projects聽
• Previous experience liaising between the business and the technical teams聽
• Proven experience offering and delivering Consulting Services聽
• Experience in transformation and business readiness聽
• Ability to manage and support project team members (Visa and client).聽
• Strong stakeholder and client engagement skills, including at senior executive levels.聽
• Ability to lead internal projects end to end聽聽
