The Senior Manager of Manufacturing will report directly to the Operations Lead. This is a highly strategic role where you will oversee the operations of the Arroyo manufacturing site and support the manufacturing of Sports Medicine, Endoscopy, and Instruments products.

In this role, you will manage 5-8 professionals.

This is an on-site role based in Arroyo, PR

What you will do

• Coordinate, and manage the planning and implementation of processes for capacity, improvements and production of the manufacturing areas. Fully comply with all regulatory and quality standard requirements.

• Responsible to stop further processing in the event of encountering non-conforming product condition. Provides/coordinates for technical support and manufacturing issue resolution.

• Lead projects and programs to implement improvements of processes and assembly to obtain efficiencies for the manufacturing areas. Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment and subordinate personnel in producing highly quality products at minimal costs.

• Plan, organize and set goals for the functions to best utilize personnel. Will submit periodic reports on areas of responsibility.聽May have personal contact with customers.

• Review and approval of validation and quality system documentation. Manage departmental budget.

• Manage directly and/or indirectly the activities of manufacturing supervisors, engineers and/or project managers.

• Sets overall group goals and priorities and evaluates subordinate鈥檚 performance based on those goals and priorities. Coaches and develops manufacturing engineers and supervisors.

• Is responsible for manufacturing engineers complying with company policies and corrective actions.

What you need

Required

• B.S. in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, or industrial).

• 10+ years of related experience

• 3+ years of people leadership experience

• Bilingual (Spanish and English).

Preferred

• Experience and understanding of engineering principles and automation

• Experience leading a technical team in a manufacturing environment

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
