Attorney Product Specialist, CoCounsel
Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity in 2025? Thomson Reuters is looking for a Attorney Product Specialist to join our Trust & Reliability Team within the Product Management Organization, working on CoCounsel.
About the Role
We are seeking an Attorney Product Specialist to join our Trust & Reliability Team. A successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years experience working in a court setting as a clerk or staff attorney, and preferably 1-2 years practice experience either within a law firm or an in-house setting. As a part of the Team, you'll play a key role in upholding the reliability and value of CoCounsel, the world's first AI legal assistant, under the umbrella of our Product Management Organization.
The Attorney Product Specialist will be responsible for providing valuable feedback on CoCounsel's applications. Collaborating closely with Casetext’s team of engineers and data scientists, their insights will be instrumental in optimizing CoCounsel's industry-leading platform. Their contributions will further impact our mission of delivering unparalleled value to the world’s top law firms and in-house legal departments worldwide. This role demands subject matter expertise in legal practice complemented by a strong aptitude for technology, especially in the domain of generative artificial intelligence.
In this opportunity as an Attorney Product Specialist, you will:
Forecast and create practical use cases for lawyers leveraging the CoCounsel platform.Â
Monitor and evaluate CoCounsel’s continuing performance to inform Casetext’s technical experts.Â
Assist in the preparation and delivery of guidance documents for key clients and internal staff.
Identify innovative pathways for applying generative AI within legal practice.
Have the opportunity to work at the intersection of law and technology, leveraging the latest cutting-edge AI tools to shape innovative legal solutions and enhance product strategy.
Become a subject matter expert on legal prompt engineering.
Occasionally work with Business Development & Sales on the preparation of pitch materials.
About You
You are a fit for the role of Attorney Product Specialist if you have:

Experience
Juris Doctor and Bar Admission (any jurisdiction) required.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in court setting as a clerk or staff attorney.
Minimum 1 year experience in a law firm or in-house setting.
Federal civil litigation experience is preferred.Â
Demonstrable experience with generative artificial intelligence applications is a plus.
Computer proficient with strong understanding in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
Substantial experience using a variety of online legal research and practice tools (e.g. Westlaw, Practical Law, Lexis, Casetext, Relativity, Intelligize, Everlaw, etc.)
