Summary:
The Asset Services Vice President is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate processing of asset servicing events. This position demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, and the ability to drive process improvements. The candidate will lead a team in performing data analysis, reconciliation, transaction processing, and issue resolution related to complex voluntary corporate action events and other asset servicing functions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of leadership, risk management, and client relationship skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team responsible for reconciliation and processing of positions related to Corporate Action events.
- Ensure efficient, effective, and timely execution of client instructions, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues.
- Oversee the reconciliation, processing, and payment facilitation for voluntary corporate action events, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Establish and maintain high-quality service standards by leading the team in researching and responding to complex inquiries in a timely and conscientious manner.
- Conduct in-depth analyses to identify the root causes of complex operational issues, developing and implementing effective solutions.
- Champion compliance-related activities, driving adherence to established procedures and controls, and staying abreast of regulatory changes.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Proactively assess risks associated with business decisions, demonstrating a strong commitment to protecting Citigroup's reputation, clients, and assets through compliance with laws, regulations, and ethical conduct.
- Effectively escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency to senior management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, internal business partners, and regulatory agencies.
- Drive strategic initiatives to improve process efficiency, reduce operational risk, and enhance client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in financial services operations, with significant experience in asset servicing and corporate actions.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with a proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
- Advanced understanding of cash flows, accounting treatments, operational controls, and market practices.
- In-depth knowledge of various investment instruments, including Equity securities, Fixed Income, and Asset-Backed securities.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant industry software.
- Strong understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required; Master's degree preferred.

$129,840.00 - $194,760.00
