Position Overview:

Join our dynamic team as an Accounting Operations Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the General Ledger function. You'll ensure accurate and timely recording, reconciliation, reporting, and compliance with ±·±ð²õ³Ù±ôé Accounting standards at a ±·±ð²õ³Ù±ôé in the market (Nim) level. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with various teams within the organization, streamline processes, and maintain strong relationships across different functions. If you have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail, this position is perfect for you. You'll work with several operating companies in the U.S. market, including NUSA and NHSc, and have responsibility for their shared service accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the General Ledger Accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Oversee general accounting functions performed by onshore and offshore teams
  • Enhance partnerships with offshore teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of account reconciliations
  • Consolidate quarterly balance sheet flux commentaries
  • Manage NIBS certification of US entities
  • Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and controls to ensure compliance with ±·±ð²õ³Ù±ôé accounting standards
  • Identify risks and develop controls to mitigate them
  • Participate in special projects or initiatives as assigned by management
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives
  • Manage escalation processes to ensure timely resolution and drive down key risk indicators
  • Provide technical support across assigned areas of responsibility
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in general accounting
  • 3+ years of experience in leading/supervising others
  • Proficient user of SAP or similar ERP system and MS Applications
  • Proven ability to leverage performance, development, and talent to build people capabilities
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the ability to inspire others to deliver exceptional results
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across the organization
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Passion for solving complex problems and generating cross-functional solutions
  • Ability and desire to develop digital solutions, with proven skills in data awareness, visualization, communication, and business partnering
