Position Summary

SciPlay is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Sound Engineer to join our dynamic Game Development team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be instrumental in adapting and integrating audio assets for our engaging casino games across diverse platforms. Collaborating closely with Sound Designers, Developers, and QA, you will ensure a consistently immersive and technically sound audio experience.Ìý

Key Responsibilities:Ìý
Assist in the seamless porting of sound assets from original formats to various platforms (desktop, mobile, etc.).Ìý
Collaborate with Sound Designers to implement and optimize high-quality audio within our games.Ìý
Support the audio team with sound library maintenance, asset management, and documentation.Ìý
Edit, mix, and master audio assets using DAW software and Adobe Audition to meet platform-specific requirements.Ìý
Test and debug audio features to identify and resolve technical issues effectively.Ìý
Work collaboratively with developers to integrate audio using game engine software.Ìý
Apply effective time management to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced development environment.Ìý
Participate in team meetings, providing clear progress updates and highlighting any challenges.Ìý

Qualifications:Ìý
Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Game Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ìý
Fundamental understanding of audio processing, sound design principles, and game audio workflows.Ìý
Familiarity with slot machine game mechanics and gaming platforms is a plus.Ìý
Strong problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.Ìý
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ìý

Experience using DAW software and Adobe Audition for audio integration.Ìý
Basic understanding of platform-specific audio requirements (iOS, Android, Windows).Ìý
