    Position Overview

    Help shape the digital future of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

    Autodesk is seeking a hands-on, forward-thinking Strategic Technology Advisor to play a key role in delivering the built environment for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. In this high-impact position, you will guide the use of Autodesk鈥檚 technology ecosystem to support the planning, design, and construction of Olympic venues and supporting infrastructure.

    This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional who blends deep technical expertise in Autodesk solutions with strategic insight and a track record of success in delivering complex, high-stakes capital projects and programs.

    Responsibilities

    • Act as a trusted advisor to LA28鈥檚 Venue Development and BIM teams, shaping and implementing the digital strategy for venue delivery
    • Design, optimize, and support workflows using Autodesk tools, such as Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro, Autodesk Docs, and Autodesk Construction Cloud
    • Provide strategic counsel and hands-on technical support to streamline planning, coordination, and delivery processes across all phases of the project
    • Serve as the primary Autodesk liaison on best practices and thought leadership around digital project delivery
    • Translate and present complex technical and operational challenges into scalable, actionable technology solutions to diverse audiences
    • Collaborate with internal Autodesk stakeholders and LA28鈥檚 consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful delivery of digitally enabled venues

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor鈥檚 degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management / VDC, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
    • 5+ years of experience in digital project delivery and BIM management for large-scale infrastructure or capital programs
    • Expert proficiency with Autodesk tools, including Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro, Autodesk Docs, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, and related solutions
    • Strong knowledge of CAD/BIM standards, including file structuring, annotations, templates, revision tracking, and collaboration protocols
    • Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines and stakeholders
    • Experience coordinating across cross-functional teams and managing external design and construction partners
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Plus: Experience in sustainable design considerations in the built environment, with a focus on pragmatic planning and delivery of sustainable design and construction practices
      • Strong influencer to ensure sustainable design and construction requirements are integrated through project delivery and materials procurement
      • Ideally, be able to integrate technology workflows to optimize and track operational and embodied carbon in design and construction
    • Plus: Experience in the sports facility domain

    • A senior-level professional with a strong background in architecture, engineering, or construction, and deep familiarity with aligning Autodesk solutions with strategic objectives for planning, design, and construction
    • Equally comfortable setting digital project delivery strategy that connect multidisciplinary stakeholders, unify data, and streamline workflows and diving into technical problem-solving
    • Experienced in delivering large, high-profile capital projects and programs.
    • A clear communicator who can engage with senior executives as well as frontline teams
    • Passionate about using technology to drive efficiency, innovation, sustainability, resilience, and accessibility in construction

    Salary transparency

    Salary is one part of Autodesk鈥檚 competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $148,200 and $239,800. Offers are based on the candidate鈥檚 experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
