The Visa Business Solutions (VBS) and Visa Government Solutions (VGS) team is a world-class technology organization experiencing tremendous, double-digit growth as we expand products into new payment flows and continue to grow our core card solutions. Responsibilities:Ìý

• Design and develop critical systems with high-availability and high performanceÌýâ€�

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologiesÌý

• Develop front-end applications using frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.jsÌý

• Design, code and integrate n-tier applications with different application componentsÌý

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresÌý

• Responsible for design and development of different products utilizing Visa's huge data.Ìý

• Interested in Innovation and ideation. Contribute to development of new products by building quick POCs and converting ideas into real products.Ìý

• Experience on Dockers,Kubernets, Openshift, IaaS hybrid cloud deployment and Infrastructure/production support and ITIL processÌý

• Experience in in Kubernetes Administration and OpenShift Infrastructure and ArchitectureÌý

• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver high quality products and services that meet business requirements and exceeds expectations while applying the latest available tools and technology.Ìý

• Have a passion for delivering zero defect code.Ìý

• Help developer efficiencies by utilizing Continuous Integration/Development tools, test automation frameworks and other related items.Ìý

• Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely mannerÌý

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practicesÌý

• Work in Agile/Scrum teams and follow the guidelines.Ìý

• Create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.Ìý

• Collaborate with global and virtual teams on software development.Ìý

• Identify opportunities for future enhancements and refinements to products, standards, best practices and development methodologiesÌý

• Provide coaching and mentoring to junior team membersÌý

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trendsÌý

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Basic Qualifications:
� 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.


Preferred Qualifications:
� 7.5+ years of relevant experience in software design, architecture, and development lifecycle
�5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
� Proven experience in full-stack software development for large-scale, mission-critical applications
� Strong expertise in n-tier web application development using Java/J2EE or equivalent frameworks
Backend Development Skills
� Extensive experience with Spring or Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA, and Hibernate frameworks
� Proven expertise with RDBMS systems including SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2
� Proficiency in Web Services/API development using SOAP or REST, JSON, and XML
� Experience with DevOps tools including GIT/Stash, Maven, and Jenkins
Frontend Development Skills
� Strong experience in UI/Web development using Angular/React, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML/CSS
� Ability to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces that meet business requirements
� Additional Technical Skills
� Experience collaborating with security teams to ensure compliance with security standards
� Knowledge of big data technologies (Spark, Scala, HDFS, Hive) is a plus
Leadership & Professional Skills
� Experience leading a development module/team or mentoring junior developers is a plus
� Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
� Demonstrated ability to deliver zero-defect code that meets or exceeds defect SLAs
� Strong sense of accountability for quality and timeliness of deliverables
� Ability to manage multiple projects and adjust priorities based on changing requirements
� Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and following established processes
� Excellent presentation, collaboration, and communication skills
