Reporting to the Business Unit Director of Eyecare & Neuroscience will be responsible for managing the success of the Pharma Marketing business, which focus on neuroscience therapeutic areas, with a set overall marketing strategy and direction, including the marketed and pipelined brands across neuroscience therapeutic areas of AbbVie. You will lead the neuroscience sales team to promote and sell in the pharmaceutical business effectively. Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of Pharma AbbVie's business. Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure the company's products and services meet patients' and customers' needs in the country. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry, including government agencies, hospitals, and healthcare professionals. Manage and develop team members to achieve their full potential. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the company and pharmaceutical industry.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
This will be specifically achieved by leading the Philippines Pharma Marketing business and Neuroscience Sales Team. Responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of the following:
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Brand Excellence
- Develop and drive 3-5 years strategic plans and presenting to the executive management team.
- Build short and long-term brand strategies and manage P&Ls.
- Forecast inventory accuracy requirements with the Marketing Manager and Business Unit Head and assist the logistics team with inventory control to maintain accuracy of sales forecasts and product requirements.
- Pursue new growth opportunities through collaborations with relevant business partners i.e., tactical programs and drive brand performance.
- Create and implement pricing strategies in collaboration with Market Access.
- Provide guidance in development of programs, materials, and tactics to achieve brand objectives.
Operational ExcellenceÂ
- Build and manage commercial operations strategy and execution to achieve or exceed respective plan.
- Monitor budgets and expenditures to ensure resources are aligned with commitments.
- Prepare and participate in the financial planning process.
- Coordinate, consolidate, and drive brand financial goals and allocated P&L. Review, challenge, and validate outputs to commercial models to incorporate realistic and “raise the bar� objectives into the plan book.
- Represent AbbVie to outside stakeholders as patient-centric and the healthcare partner of choice to build a sustainable AbbVie brand image.
- Optimize resource utilization by leading, developing, and coaching Sales Team performance, including setting sales targets and incentive schemes, and managing Sales Force Management Systems and KPIs to continuously improve district sales performance. Ensure regular updates on Sales Team skills in medical, technical, and special in-field knowledge areas.
- Manage cross-functional cooperation, lead, manage, and coordinate effective multidisciplinary In Field Teams (including Key Account Management) and ensure strategic and tactical alignment between In Field and Brand Team activities, including timely and qualitative market intelligence information flow between In Field, Brand Teams, and Sales Function to optimize brand strategy and its execution.
- Monitor and consolidate the outcomes of regional engagement and account plans to feed the brand planning process and anticipate market needs and/or changes.
- Proactively and continuously aspire to serve key stakeholder needs, expectations, and challenges to build trusted key stakeholder relationships and to achieve win-win agreements continuously.
Team Performance
- Lead the brand team without authority/direct reporting line relationship to all brand team members to develop and implement a vision and objectives shared by all members.
- Provide sales and marketing team with the leadership direction needed to achieve sales, margin, and market share goals.
- Develop, challenge, and coach the team to achieve top performance and productivity. Identifying high-potential staff and supporting employee development plans. Managing succession plans and addressing future staffing issues in a proactive manner.
- Motivate and manage NS field sales through a sales force automation system, including appropriate KPIs and sales incentive plan.
- Perform all related people management activities, including regular performance reviews, providing feedback, and implementing performance strategies where necessary.
- Support to create a positive team environment through the demonstration of inclusive leadership behaviors, with communicating expectation clearly, instilling an atmosphere of trust and respect, and leading by example.
- Deliver sales performance and relevant Brand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet or exceed district sales plan within expense budgets.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or any business-related course.
- Master’s degree in any business-related course is an advantage.
- Preferably has experience as a Business Unit Manager or equivalent field.
- Relevant sales and marketing experience. Strong business acumen and knowledge of sales and marketing aspects, financial processes, brand, and market dynamics.
- Proven track record of successful leadership, management, and coaching of teams and individuals, and in having developed talent and performance managed low performers.
- Experience in managing and developing high-performance teams. Ability to work through people, irrespective of reporting relationships. Must be able to influence upwards. Excellent coaching skills and ability to transfer skills to team members.
