Job Details

Functional contact point for Markets business & Ops units for all requirements in the FICC space for CBNA India Markets in-country team. This is a techno functional role with major responsibilities of the incumbent being business analysis, requirement elicitation, system testing, impact analysis of local/regional changes and project related documentations in the Fixed Income, Currency, Commodities (FICC). Significant amount of liaising with regional/ global teams for India related implementations is also required. Focus areas include Business Analysis activities across all SDLC stages, UAT testing, Project status updates ,Requirement documentation,Ìý Stakeholder & Vendor management, liaison with regulatory bodies /regional/ global teams as applicable for new rollouts & enhancements on existing systems.

  • Participate in projectÌýdiscussions with relevant stake holders throughout the lifecycle of an IT project
  • EnsureÌýCITI compliant software project documentation standards areÌýfollowed for each project undertaken
  • Ensure application administrative documents as well as Project related documents are up to date in the project tracking systems
  • Preparation of requirement documents / functional specifications & ensuring timely delivery of business requirements as per outlined IT solution
  • Responsible for defining the testing scope, creating test cases and execution of test cases along with User trainingÌý local & regional / global systems
  • Would be the SPOC for users for all queries related to the requested requirements
  • Extensive vendor interaction for getting all requirements developed as envisaged and quality assurance certifications for the same
  • Ensuring all requirements undertaken comply with IT Governance, Banking Security standards and audit framework
  • Liaise with in-country, regional and global partners and work collaborativelyÌýÌý to deliver medium to large sized projects
  • Work as individual contributor and Team player based on project requirements
  • Assist the application teams in implementation of Citi Engineering Excellence standards across managed segment
  • Broadcast Project status weekly to key stakeholders. Highlight / Escalate Risks, Issues, Concerns timely
  • Work with Production support teams to understand, analyze & resolve issues as & when required
  • Achieve efficiency by analyzing recurring issues to develop systemic solutions for the same.
  • Work closely with the FXLM Tech teams on implementation/ adoption of key Tech initiatives

Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Banking +/ IT. Master’s degree in finance a plus.
  • At least 7+ years of experience working as a business analyst with 5+ years in technology solutions group in BFSI domain
  • Good understanding of asset classes in markets and their lifecycle process â€� FI/MM, Derivatives, FX, Rates
  • Data Oriented, should demonstrate strong analytical/problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/SAFe certification preferred
  • Good understanding and experience of vendor management.
  • Good communication skills â€� both oral & written is a must
  • Ability to create and review quality documentation
  • Experience in handling mission critical requirements at short notice particularly in the BFSI / regulatory space
  • Experience in managing end to end project life cycle usingÌýindustry standard methodologies
  • Handing end to end project lifecycle from requirements to testing & post production assistance

Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordination and Stakeholder management: Required to co-ordinate with different stakeholders such as business , operations, technology development, testing, technical project manager.
  • Requirement Gathering: Understand & define high level system scope and project objective.
  • Understand requirements through partnership with business users, cross functional teams, and stakeholders.
  • Performing Impact analysis, technical feasibility assessment, Solution analysis to determine feasibility, systems impacted.
  • Requirement communication: Should articulate the requirements to different teams without any ambiguity with clear justification of the requirement through acceptance criteria.
  • Help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results.
  • Should prepare reports and presentations as required to present business and technology management.
  • Identify and communicate risks and impacts, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
  • Understanding of the applications and data flow end to end.
  • Coordinate UAT testing with technology and business users.
  • Monitor the availability of test environments, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Document and track issues, providing regular updates to stakeholders on status and resolution efforts.
  • Create, manage and own documentation in Confluence and JIRA project repositories.
  • Must be familiar with SDLC process and it’s artifacts like BRD, FRD, Test plans, etc.
  • MS Excel, SQL knowledge would be a plus to be able to query data and perform analysis.
  • Self-motivated individuals preferred who adapt to changing situations well and take initiative and master new tasks quickly.
