Position Summary听

The role involves working on various Investment Banking analyses including market valuation, financial analysis, impact of a corporate transaction on earnings and other key financial indicators. Analyst will be aligned to a specific sector and geography.听

Responsibilities听听

听

• Industry analysis 鈥� Researching and preparing industry and market overview听

• Company analysis 鈥� Analyzing specific company 鈥� business operations, financial information and operational KPIs听

• Valuation 鈥� Relative valuation including comparable and precedent transaction analysis to build a valuation perspective听

• Preparing newsletters on specific industry / company for senior management for strategic advisory听

• Partners with the team in ensuring a high quality output and managing all deliverables听

• Partners with clients to seek exploratory projects from the franchises听

• Contributes in team鈥檚 development by sharing knowledge听听

听

These analyses are part of client materials which help IB bankers to advice and service their clients in the areas of M&A, financings and strategic advisory. E.g. For an equity offering, MIAG analysts may work with IB teams to build parts of DRHP including Industry analysis, financial valuations, roadshow presentation for marketing the offering company to HNIs and underwriters听

Eligibility Criteria & Key Skills Required:-听

• Knowledge and Technical Skills 鈥� Strong understanding of accounting and corporate finance concepts听

• General awareness of the changing market scenario听听

• Analytical approach with good attention to details听

• Project Management 鈥� Delivery of client-ready work product听

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)听

• Working in teams 鈥� Self-accountability in identifying and acting on development opportunities, promotion of constructive dialogue and sharing of best practices听

• Champions Progress 鈥� Proactively works towards innovative idea generation to improve existing approaches听
