Job Description � Senior EPM/Hyperion Analyst
ÌýOverview

Responsibilities:
Technical:
Assist with Hyperion application components, including rules, elimination calcs, webforms, member lists, journals, optimization, security for Planning, HFM and Essbase.
Ability to work independently with business users and draw relations and ask relevant questions in Oracle environment
ÌýSupport back-end databases (SQL), SQL query writing for finance teams
Manage metadata updates in all Hyperion applications
Provide production support during the budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting process by working directly with the consolidations, FP&A and segment businesses
Support data integrations from Oracle and Navision; Maintain and enhance existing application and help with mapping.
Develop and Test environment and application enhancements and support testing in other areas of the EPM suite.
Assist with the accounting and integration for acquisitions
Strong understanding of ASO/BSO cube development
Proficiency in creation/customization of Business Rules
Understanding the integration requirements and ability to build Data Management/FDMEE
Design and build data forms, smart lists, data management
Financial:
Managing, supporting, and maintaining the performance of the Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Global Consolidation and Reporting system and the Hyperion Planning application to provide global actual, forecast and budget analytics used by management for decision making purposes. Essbase analytical databases across accounting and finance.
Serve as the expert and oversee the design and creation of processes and reporting capabilities for the effective use of these software applications, including customized views and reporting capabilities for organizations to ensure their integrity and efficiency.
Manage and prioritize the design of data collection models and processes within Hyperion Financial Management and Hyperion Planning to ensure consistent delivery of financial information to the senior leaders and they will be responsible for the development and maintenance of standardized and ad-hoc reporting for forecasting, planning, and monthly actual results.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or IT
5+ years of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and FDM experience, preferably with a U.S. headquartered multi-national company.
OrÌýMinimum 4 years Financial Systems administration, maintenance, and training of Hyperion Financial Management and Hyperion Planning modules.
Excellent computer skills, especially with MS Excel. Experience with (Windows) remote desktop, Rundeck automation and Windows BAT, MaxL, EPMAUTOMATE, and Oracle CLI scripts are highly desirable.
Knowledge of SQL and ODI desirable
Experience in implementation of Hyperion Planning, Essbase, HFM, FDMEE
Basic ability to blend accounting knowledge and IT logic to recommend and implement improvements to processes and financial reporting
Knowledge in Batch/Shell scripts, PERL desirable.
Qualifications
