Visa is seeking a full stack Java/J2EE developer with good hands-on experience in front end technologies like angular. The Visa Commercial Solutions team is responsible for designing, developing, and managing 20+ applications and services for Visa鈥檚 Commercial line of products. Our range of products include data processing, business intelligence, data mining, and B2B payments solutions
Primary responsibilities for this role will include
As part of a cross functional scrum team, design, develop & test new applications and maintain existing applications
Develop code that complies with design specifications and meets security and industry best practices.
Work with architects, systems analysts, project managers, QA and other developers to successfully implement business requirements while applying the latest available tools and technologies.
Participate in design and code review sessions as appropriate to ensure the quality of work delivered by teammates is in accordance with development standards
Build working relationships with global and virtual teams on software development
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
* 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor鈥檚 Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor鈥檚 Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
* 5 + years of relevant experience in software industry
* Proficient in Java/J2EE technologies
* Experience in frameworks like Spring, Sprint MVC, JPA, Hibernate
* Experience in SQL and/or PL/SQL is required
* Experience in working with microservice development, containerization, and CI CD
* Experience working on UI/Web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and UI frameworks like Angular/React
* Demonstrated knowledge of Web Services Development using REST, JSON and XML
* Proficient听in GIT/Stash, Maven
* Experience being听part of a Agile/Scrum team
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, or related technology/engineering discipline
