What you will do-

Responsible for all team performance in the areas of quality, delivery and performance to budget, team building, employee engagement, new product implementation, capacity, production planning and acquisition integration.  Adheres to quality and quantity standards and follows guidelines to meet product specifications.  Grow, develop, and manage team members.  Ensures compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage cross functional team of clerical and professional Global Trade Operations Senior Analysts and Global Trade Operations Lead Analysts

  • Supervise team creating US centric trade compliance Data, including but not limited to Country of Origin, HTS Codes, Special Trade Programs (Duty Drawback, Recon, & FTAs)

  • Import regulatory compliance

  • Personnel management including scheduling, providing technical assistance, and employee development which includes hiring, communicating company policies, coaching, and counseling, administering performance appraisals, and enforcing company policies through appropriate disciplinary measures

  • Accountable for all record-keeping as appropriate and in accordance with Stryker specifications

  • Review current activities and processes. Identify appropriate course of action for continuous improvement of data quality

  • Work with inside and outside legal to prepare data for appropriate filings related to U.S. Customs

  • Work to improve legal compliance and provides input within government rules and regulations, including but not limited to Country of Origin, HTS code for shipments

  • Work with FDA, Homeland Security, and other government agencies to improve compliance and product flow

  • Manage and participate in cross divisional projects/initiatives

What you need-

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related degree

  • Licensed Customs Broker

  • 8 plus years of trade compliance experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Medical Device and/or FDA experience

  • 5+ years people leadership

  • Vendor management

  • Experience with complex imports

$98,000.00 - $161,600.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
