Role Description & Responsibilities

Dassault Systèmes is seeking a Senior Business Planner to support and drive the transformation within North American. In this high-impact role, you will collaborate with executive leadership, finance, marketing, and sales teams to align strategy with execution and ensure business planning supports growth and innovation across the region.

You will develop deep knowledge of our go-to-market strategy, business structure, and industry trends while delivering strategic insights, actionable intelligence, and data-driven plans that support the company’s revenue and market share goals.

  • Ìý ÌýStrategic Support: Partner with Sales Leadership to provide decision-making guidance that enhances Dassault Systèmesâ€� competitive positioning.
  • ÌýCommercial Strategy Development: Translate global product strategies into actionable commercial strategies for the North American market.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Assess the Total Addressable Market (TAM), analyze competitor positioning, and evaluate new technologies and trends.
  • ÌýBusiness Planning: Develop detailed, multi-year business plans and strategic roadmaps aligned with growth objectives and revenue targets.
  • ÌýÌý Trend Monitoring: Monitor key trends across engineering, manufacturing, and relevant industries to help shape sales and marketing priorities.
  • ÌýÌý Data & Econometric Analysis: Conduct quarterly industry trend assessments and build data models to support scenario planning and performance forecasting.
  • ÌýPriority Setting: Help establish and refine marketing and sales initiatives, schedules, and execution plans across the region.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in business planning, corporate strategy, or management consulting.
  • Experience in or deep exposure to the enterprise software and/or SaaS industry
  • Proven ability to develop data-driven plans and market insights
  • Ìý Strong modeling, forecasting, and financial planning skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and executive presentation
  • Experience facilitating stakeholders to align plan with measurable KPI
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging with senior executives

ÌýPreferred Skills:

  • Market and Industry Analysis:ÌýÌýAbility to segment and size markets; perform competitor benchmarking and analyze trends
  • ÌýOperational modelling: Ìýsales, technical sales, services and marketing organization models with capacity, Revenue, cost and ROI.
  • ÌýÌýExperience in SaaS, enterprise software, or technology sectors
  • ÌýProficiency in business intelligence and planning tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Python, Tableau, Salesforce)
  • ÌýÌýKnowledge of forecasting, TAM modeling, and go-to-market strategy
  • ÌýÌý Strong analytical mindset and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies
  • ÌýAbility to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
  • Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $130,000 and $190,000 representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
