AsÌýStaff Software Engineer, you will be part of our Workday Total rewards team to help design, enhance and build our HR platform in an agile development environment, you will work independently with minimal insight to develop software that conforms to Visa’s high standards. As part of this self-driven team, you will have total ownership of the solutions we provide for our HR and Learning customers making availability, performance, security, and reliability critical to our success. You will work withÌýcolleagues, who will support and challenge you daily.ÌýYou will play part of multiple teams tasked with multiple projects ranging from extensive functional workday HCM product suite to building Custom Workday reports and calculated fields, BIRT Layout designs, Studio Integrations, EIB inbound and outbound integrations to highly functional, secure, scalable, and resilient real time Workday enhancements.ÌýYou will work on unit testing, code reviews and regular check-ins to continuous integration that will become part of your DNA.ÌýYou will see the code written and moved to production within just a few days, to then be used by all Visa employees.ÌýIf this sounds exciting, we want to chat and tell you more about our work culture and environment and see if this will be a good fit for both of us.

Essential Functions:

  • 8-10Ìýyears of overall experience working as Workday Integrations consultant.
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Workday PECI and PICOF integrations, ensuring seamless data flow between Workday and third-party payroll systems.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into robust integration solutions using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and EIB.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Workday payroll integrations, including configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing support for PECI and PICOF interfaces.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Workday integration best practices and mentor junior team members on PECI and PICOF integration standards.
  • Strong technical communication skills along with effective collaboration skills
  • Strong program and project management skills. Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Exceptional problem solving and time management skills and highly detail oriented
  • Ability to lead effective meetings and briefings for internal and external representatives. Must often coordinate efforts between functional areas or members of an extended project team
  • Create conceptual approach, technical analysis and plans for development, unit testing, deployment, and support activities
  • Design,ÌýCode, document and implement new applications & as well as existingÌýprograms
  • DevelopÌýcode that complies with design specifications and meets security andÌýbest practices. Coding must adhere to all standards for security,Ìýbe easily maintainable and have high system performance.
  • CollaborateÌýwith Development & QA staff on individual and team deliverables
  • ComfortableÌýworking in a loosely structured, fast-paced organization
  • CreateÌýdocumentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
  • ConductÌýcode reviews, as requested, to comply with coding standards
  • BuildÌýworking relationships with global and virtual teams on softwareÌýdevelopment
  • IdentifyÌýopportunities for future enhancements and refinements to standards and development methodologies.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
� 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications
� 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
� Assist with maintenance and configuration of existing Workday core HCM application.
� Assist with updating system configuration like Business Processes, validation rule, security setup, notifications etc.
� Experience with Workday integrations (Inbound EIB, Outbound EIB, Studio, calculated fields, and advanced custom reports)
� Familiarity with utilizing Workday API documentation to build technical design documentation for both Workday integrations, Production Support teams, and for non-Workday technical teams
� Capable of diagnosing system errors from log files and translating into technical errors into business actions
� Proven experience working with technologies such as XML, XSLT, XPATH, SOA, SOAP, OAuth 2.0, Report-as-a-Service, REST Web Services and Web technologies
� Workday Core Connector and Effective Change Interface experience strongly encouraged (CCW, CCB, WECI, PECI, PICOF)
� Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and SQL programming, C#, .NET with Visual Studio, TFS, HTML and JavaScript, SFTP and encryption preferred
� Experience custom report layouts using BIRT and RaaS reports based on business requirements and wireframes
� Working experience on JIRA tool and Agile methodology.
� Experience in scripting with PowerShell preferred
� Experience working with Azure Logic Apps will be an added advantage
� Experience utilizing CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, TFS, GitHub, Jenkins, SVN, etc..
� Experience working/communicating effectively with diverse business and IT staff in multiple locations and in a multinational environment is very strongly preferred
� Proven experience in eliciting and elaborating business requirements, drafting system design specifications, and developing technical solutions
� Strong follow-through, ability to drive to closure and resolution of complex system issues. Excellent problem identification, analysis and solving skills
� Demonstrated ability to absorb, analyze, and understand new information, technologies, and practices quickly
� Active listener, customer focused, relationship builder, team player
