Position Overview
Autodesk Construction Solutions (ACS) is seeking an exceptional data engineer to transform, optimize, test, and maintain architectures for our construction/ customer databases, data pipelines, and processing systems, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams. This position will allow ACS to serve relevant data to all stakeholders, internally and externally, and maintain the infrastructure, so the data science and analytics teams can present their work to the organization.Â
Responsibilities:
Maintain/ develop a scalable database/ data warehouse through connecting disparate data housed across numerous organizational systems and different business lines
Maintain/ develop the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS technologies
Optimize/ maintain workflows/ scripts on present data warehouses and present ETLÂ
Maintain data sources and workflows/ data pipelines across different systemsÂ
Maintain different data/ analytics outlets including SFDC, Looker, Power BI, etc. to ensure data delivery to team members and ad-hoc reporting requirementsÂ
Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leaderÂ
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, applied mathematics, or a related disciplineÂ
4-6 years of data engineering experience with Advanced working SQL knowledge, dimensional modeling, and data engineering best practices
Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload managementÂ
Overall solid programming skills, able to write modular, maintainable code, preferably Python & SQL
Expertise in gathering data through multiple sources through API calls and scripting languages
Understanding of BI tools such as Looker, PowerBI, and other toolsÂ
Experience with Snowflake and Marketo is a plus
