What you’ll do?
- Impactful work:ÌýDirectly empower traders, sales and portfolio managers with cutting-edge UI tools and capabilities.
- Cutting-edge technology:ÌýLeverage the latest technologies like TypeScript, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift (or similar cloud platforms) to build a next-generation UI platform.
- Focus on UX:ÌýBuild intuitive and visually appealing platform capabilities designed to handle a heterogeneous end user audience across the firm.
- Standardized Frameworks:ÌýDevelop and maintain standardized frameworks to streamline development and ensure consistency across the firm.
- Interoperability:ÌýEnable seamless interoperability between different UI applications across multiple projects and teams.
- Build for scale:ÌýDesign and implement solutions that are robust, scalable, and resilient enough to handle Citi's massive operational demands.
- Be a Change Agent:ÌýChampion modern software engineering practices, influencing how UI development is done across the organization.
- Collaborative Culture:ÌýJoin a passionate team committed to engineering excellence and a positive, inclusive work environment.
Who you are:
- 14+ years of Hands-on senior Full-Stack Web software engineer with a passion for modern web development.
- You have deep expertise in TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Node.js.
- You’ve demonstrated solid experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like OpenShift.
- You have a strong understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and message queuing systems.
- Previous experience with Electron, OpenFin, Finsemble, or Interop.io is a major plus.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- A strong advocate for clean code, testability, and maintainability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
