We are seeking a talented Heavy Diesel Field Service Technician to join our Laverton branch, primarily supporting our Rail team with repairs and maintenance, while also assisting across our On-Highway and Power Generation departments.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the field, this will be on an on-call roster
- Diagnose and repair engines
- Inspect and replace components as required
- Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic (to Australian standards)
- Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of rail heavy diesel products and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)
- Valid Australian Driver鈥檚 license required

QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Information:
- Full Time / 38 hours per week
- Morning Shift (6:00am 鈥� 14:06pm)
- Overtime as required 鈥� Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours
- All your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and laundered
- Domestic Relocation from across Australia may be offered for the right candidate
- The successful candidate will be required to participate in an afterhours on-call roster every 6 weeks
- Local Valid Drivers License is required
