As a Government Contract Manager, you will take the lead in shaping and executing enterprise-wide federal contracting strategy. As the trusted subject matter expert, you will drive impactful partnerships, ensure compliance, and influence how our products reach government customers nationwide.
This is a remote position. 30% travel is required to domestic destinations to meetings and trades shows.
What you will do:
Serve as Government Contracting Agent, signature authority, and primary negotiation point of contact for IDIQ, FSS, ECAT, MSPV, DAPA, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs), Consignment Agreements, and other government and direct contracts including Indirect Channel distribution agreements.
Integrate key stakeholders and solicit SLT engagement in development of major cross-divisional government proposals, while ensuring BU financial/ROI goals are satisfied prior to finalizing proposals.
Develop a synergistic contract management approach; facilitates divisional and cross-divisional collaboration while leveraging Stryker’s combined product portfolio.
Utilize key data and performance metrics to analyze contract performance; target and remove barriers to contract compliance; integrate key stakeholders by developing standardized contract performance processes.
Collaborate with Stryker’s government legal team to ensure prompt payment of quarterly SLA/IFF fees and contract compliance.
Provide proactive support and guidance to the Stryker Business Units and Government Sales Teams regarding government contract creation and compliance.
Develop/maintain detailed and standardized file management programs.
Utilize the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other relevant government regulations and policies, in addition to internal Stryker Business Unit policies and procedures, to facilitate the acquisition and ongoing administration of contracts and agreements.
Monitor upcoming government requirements in systems, such as SAM.gov, DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS), and other governmental systems.
Initiate, build, and grow customer engagement/relationships; drive long-term customer loyalty and retention.
Work with outside Federal Industry Organizations to help influence US Government policy.
Lead, develop, and mentor Government Account and Enablement Associates
What you need:
Required
Bachelor’s degree
8+ years of work experience
Experience working with sales or government contracts
Preferred
Experience directly serving government contracts/agreements
Experience working with IDIQ, FSS, ECAT, MSPV, DAPA, and Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs)
Experience in Project Management
Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
Experience working with FAR
Experience working with SAM.gov
$115,600 - $245,800 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
