Senior Engineer CNC is the Subject Matter Expert across a number of Engineering competencies including mostly CNC skills but also Lean six sigma, manufacturing and automation. This role requires a broad knowledge of principles and practices of CNC technology and ability to deliver complex assignments.
What will you do?Â
- Technical and operational support to CNC manufacturing operations �
- Ensure quality of process and product as defined in appropriate specificationsÂ
- Structured problem solvingÂ
- Continuously improve the performance of the processÂ
- Provide support to Process Development / Advanced Operations on technology development and application within the manufacturing process
- Engage in the implementation of lean manufacturingÂ
- Communicate and participate in system and process troubleshooting with support team members and with external agentsÂ
- Process NC/CAPA in his/her area of responsibilityÂ
- Taking part/leading in development process of PFEMA, Control Plans.Â
- Conducting SPC and MSA studies for new/modified processes.Â
- Integration of new process with MES / SAP systems. Â
- Lead role in development of tool data management system and tool crib
What do you need?
- At least 3 years experience in implementing/improving CNC processes.Â
- CNC Machining Knowledge (Swiss turning, milling, CNC grinding)Â
- Experience in CNC programming (Fanuc, Sinumerik, Mazatrol)Â
- Experience and knowledge in process validation/PPAP. Â
- Knowledge of GD&T is a must.Â
- Experience in using analytical tools like PFMEA, SPC, MSA, DoE will be an advantage.Â
- Demonstrable strong  analytical & problem solving skills, a process improvement orientation, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- Technological expert, willing to source, investigate and implement technological advancesÂ
- Fluent English writing and speaking is a mustÂ
