Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in听SQL听and experience working with relational databases
• Hands-on experience with听DBT听for data modeling (even in an academic or project setting)
• Familiarity with听Databricks听and听PySpark听for large-scale data processing
• Experience with听Power BI听or听Tableau听for data visualization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

(Preferred):

• 3听years of relevant experience in data analysis or a similar role.
• Experience working in a cloud-based data environment (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working or product-centric teams.
• Understanding of data governance, lineage, and quality best practices.

Responsibilities

• Write, optimize, and maintain听SQL听queries for data extraction and transformation
• Build and enhance听DBT听data models to support reliable, scalable analytics
• Use听Databricks听and听PySpark听to explore, clean, and analyze large datasets
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports using听Power BI听or听Tableau
• Validate data outputs, document data lineage, and ensure overall data quality
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams on ongoing initiatives
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Proactively manage tasks and follow through with minimal supervision
• Understanding of data governance, lineage, and quality best practices

The听CnG Data Analytics team听partners across the organization to provide data-driven insights and support regulatory, operational, and customer-focused products. As an听Associate Data Analyst, you'll work with large datasets, modern data tools, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful analysis and reporting.

This role is ideal for someone early in their data career who is comfortable working independently, communicates clearly, and is eager to grow their skills using tools like听SQL,听DBT,听Databricks,听PySpark, and听Power BI/Tableau.
