The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop user interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).听

• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.听

• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals.听

• Work in teams to establish design standard, improving efficiency of development workflow and product rollout.听

• Take ownership of smooth Production releases planning and execution听

• Oversee software quality and system modifications听

• Analyze existing operations to identify risks and redundancies听

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop solutions听

• Liaise with team members, management to ensure projects are completed to application development and governance standard听

• Expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.听

• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work, as necessary.听

• Keep up to date with industry trends and developments听

• Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards听

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.听

Qualifications:

• 5 years of relevant experience in Apps Development role as full stack developer.听

• In depth knowledge of Java, react for front end, spring boot, 听Kafka, Distributed Cache/Systems听

• Hands on experience on relational databases like Oracle with ability to write and evaluate SQLs听

• Fair understanding of the branching strategy in git repositories听

• Good to have knowledge of working in Agile methodology听

• Good exposure to microservices architecture.听

• Experience with building applications on cloud platform such as Docker, OpenShift听

• Proven implementation of design pattern and enterprise level architecture听

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills听

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills听

• Able to work independently and as part of a team听

• Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.听

• Strong organizational and project management skills听

• UI tech stack knowledge is a key听

Education:

• Bachelor鈥檚 degree/University degree or equivalent experience
