In this role, you鈥檙e expected to:
听 Responsibilities:
This is a hands-on automation Engineer specialist position in a fast growing global business and development team听
This role will mainly focus on automation test deliverables听
Create and implement automation test strategies aligned with project requirements听
Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks to streamline test development and execution听
Identify and document software defects and issues, and work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve them听
Provide guidance and coaching to junior QA team members on automation best practices and methodologies听
Job Qualifications听
4-8 years鈥� experience in Automation engineer
Experience in Automation engineer with selenium, Cucumber, Regression testing, Scripting.
Certification in software testing, such as ISTQB, is preferred听
听听
Job Skills听
Good understanding of Software development lifecycle(SDLC), agile principles and methodologies听
Familiarity with SQL and database management systems听
Proficient in one programming language, Python or Java is preferred听
Proficiency in implementing automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or similar tools听
Good knowledge in TDD and BDD.听 Experience in BDD automation framework is preferred听
Experience with bug tracking systems like Jira, Bugzilla听听
Strong communication skills and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams听
Strong analytical/problem solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.听
Ability to work independently, multi-task, take ownership and drive strategy听
