    This role is to join the Autodesk Alias team, which is building industry leading software for automotive and industrial design!  Alias is a software package that incorporates sketching, concept modeling, surfacing, visualization, and computational design. In this role, you will help develop the tools, workflows, and algorithms that power our software and enable our users to design the products and vehicles you see and use every day. Please note that this is a hybrid position for Winter 2026 (January -April 2026 work term)

    Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of Alias software

    • Apply core engineering principles to ensure quality, usability, and performance

    • Perform code and system analysis to identify and fix defects

    • Participate in agile development process, including daily scrum, sprint planning, code reviews, and quality assurance activities

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Enrolled in a Bachelors, Masters or PhD program in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering

    • Solid C++ and Object-Oriented programming skills

    • Ability to work as part of a team, self-motivated

    • Strong problem-solving skills

    Preferred Qualification

    • Familiarity with the Agile process

    • Strong math (linear algebra) skills

    • Experience with Git or similar source code revision control systems
